Before joining Off Leash K9 Training, Delaney spent six years working in animal hospitals as a veterinary assistant while completing her college degree. That clinical experience, paired with a childhood spent volunteering at animal shelters, gave her a deep foundation in animal health and empathy.

Delaney is an OLK9 Certified Trainer and an AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator. Her expertise is bolstered by service-dog experience — in college she raised a guide dog for the Guide Dog Foundation, gaining firsthand insight into the dedication service work demands.

She believes no two dogs are the same. Rather than forcing a dog into a pre-set mold, Delaney listens to each dog's personality and constantly rethinks her approach so every dog succeeds. Her specialty is confidence building — and she especially loves the challenge of high-drive, high-energy working breeds.

Caleigh specializes in aggression, reactivity, and anxiety management. Her philosophy is simple: every dog deserves the chance to live a full, balanced life — and with the right tools, structure, and guidance, they can thrive. She serves both our Asheville and Hickory clients.

She brings a uniquely holistic perspective, with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from NC State University and six years as a veterinary technician — viewing every dog through a lens of total physical and emotional well-being. She's especially passionate about reactive and misunderstood dogs, who to her aren't "bad," just overwhelmed or in need of a new way to communicate.

Caleigh is also deeply committed to the life-changing potential of service dog work and is actively expanding her expertise in that field.

Erin handles much of our puppy training and AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy work. She is OLK9 Academy Elite certified and an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.

She's especially skilled at building confidence in nervous, fearful, and shut-down dogs — the cases that require patience and methodical, step-by-step desensitization. Erin's calm, systematic approach turns anxious puppies and rescues into steady, social companions ready for real Asheville life.

Eva rounds out the Off Leash K9 Asheville team, helping families get matched to the right program and supporting every client from the first phone call through their dog's lifetime of follow-up sessions. When you call, Delaney, Erin, or Eva answers personally — no call centers, no pressure.
